Accredo’s account managers and contract personnel work with managed care organizations to provide ongoing support through all stages of the contract process—from proposal through implementation.

Our experienced, field-based national account executives (NAEs) work hard to provide a customized specialty pharmacy program that includes:

  • A dedicated intake team
  • Coordination of the claims process
  • Design of therapy-specific performance guarantees and reports
  • Scheduling of educational sessions for case managers
  • Regular meetings to discuss outcomes, utilization, and initiatives for your specialty pharmacy program

Accredo also has field-based account managers who work on a regional level to:

  • Promote our service model to physicians
  • Schedule training sessions for case managers
  • Communicate with manufacturers’ sales reps on new and existing therapies
  • Serve as a resource for managed care regarding therapy-specific issues
  • Assist national account managers with contract implementation

Our experienced contract administration teams are responsible for:

  • Responding to requests for proposals and information
  • Assisting our legal department in reviewing contracts to ensure timely turnaround of documents
  • Obtaining billing requirements and communicating them to our reimbursement department
  • Assisting the various account managers with implementation of contracts
  • Adding new products to existing agreements
