Management, Express Scripts
Bill Martin serves as Vice President, Pharma Strategy and Account Management. In this role, he leads a team that supports the long-term strategic needs, as well as the day-to-day needs of Express Scripts' pharmaceutical and biotech clients. He is responsible for the team managing contractual relationships as well as data reporting and implementation of new programs.
With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Bill has held various positions of leadership in general management, marketing, medical education, sales, and product development. In his prior role at Accredo Health Group, Bill served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy.
His key areas of interest include optimizing complex distribution channels, rare disease strategies, as well as the emerging biosimilars pathway.
Vice President, Business Development
Rob Osborne serves as Vice President of Business Development. Rob joined Express Scripts in 2005 and has responsibility for the business development of pharmaceutical and biotech clients’ strategies in order to successfully contract and maximize distribution channel strategies. This involves providing a single source solution for all specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution channel needs.
Rob has been involved in pharmaceutical and biotech sales since 1991, including serving as the national account manager for SuperGen Oncology, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for the major wholesalers: Cardinal, AmerisourceBergen, and McKesson. Additionally, he was responsible for the major Oncology Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and specialty distributors. Rob has extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical benefits management industry, including: specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, and patient access services (REMS, PAP, and reimbursement).
Rob holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a BA in biology from Indiana University. He is a subject matter expert in the development and enhancement of the specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution channels for new and existing specialty products.
Donna M. Trane
Vice President, Business Development
Donna Trane serves as Vice President of Business Development. She is responsible for all aspects of business development including sales, contracting, and strategic growth initiatives. Donna has been instrumental in the growth of several divisions and has extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical benefits management industry (PBM), specialty pharmacy, and specialty distribution services. She is a subject matter expert in the development, enhancement, and integration of specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution services for new and existing products including patient access, adherence, and REMS programs.
Donna joined Express Scripts in 1995 and continually uses her knowledge of patient access, experience with product launches, and analytical skills to strengthen client relationships. She has more than a decade of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Donna was previously a national sales manager for a major pharmaceutical company. She has expertise in the areas of oncology, hepatitis C, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, PAH, and multiple orphan and ultra orphan diseases.
Donna earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a minor in health sciences from the University of Central Florida. She has received numerous awards and served on multiple advisory boards for specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution.
Director, Business Development
Charlie Bell is the Director of New Business Development. In this role, he works with clients to develop and enhance specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution channels for new and existing specialty products. Charlie is responsible for pharmaceutical and biotech client strategies which include successfully contracting and maximizing distribution channel solutions.
Previously, Charlie served as the director of the Service Offering Development group where he oversaw the development and enhancement of manufacturer-facing business offerings. Prior to Express Scripts, Charlie gained more than 15 years of experience working for pharmaceutical manufacturers and pharmacy benefits managers including Eli Lilly, PCS HealthSystems, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and CVS-Caremark.
During his career, he has held positions in strategic business analysis, sales, competitive and market intelligence, marketing, and product development. In addition, he frequently leads discussions and speaking engagements on topics related to specialty pharmaceuticals.
